Having problems with your route?

Well here are a few answers:
My commute Sucks is website that sends a message to government on bike route problems, this is a real good way to get issues fixed, and get some funding from them is resolve your issues.
While you are waiting for the your route to address by the goverment (good luck) there is a great site called Map my Ride, this is a great way to find new routes to work and back.

Bike to work week May 11 to 18

http://www.hostelshoppe.com/ reminded me that it is bike to work week, and what better way to do it than on a Recumbent. Because most people commute from 6 to 12 miles to work with average traffic speed of 10 to 15 mph in a car. this can be done easily on a recumbent.
This is a great week to get started on a regular bike or on a recumbent. One of the reasons why I ride because it is a great way to stay in shape. However there are a lot of great reasons to bike to work.

Pig headed Cycling

Ok, this is my blog and I can now rant on a issue that has been troubling me for years, and that is the International Cycling Union this group has stop the bicycling movment for over 75 years and it needs to stop.

These are the guys that outlawed recumbents from international cycling races,  because of this the current bicycle frame as been limited to a diamond frame.  now they are limiting the tubing on the the frame come on!!! lets stop the madness and build better and faster bikes for the masses. We need to dump the ICU in the name of progress.

Portland biking community

I think that Portland is the number one biking City because of the people, not the bike lanes in the street, or the bike trails.

Like this morning one of the local bike shops where doing free bike check ups and serving coffee (I don't drink coffee but it's still nice).

I write systems for car dealership (a dying business whenit comes to new car sales) however car dealership make half of their money in part and service. So helping out Joe commuter can go along way.
